Innovated structural strengthening of significant and heritage listed 1930’s provincial church in Motueka. By strengthening the roof with a new steel cruciform structure and the walls with carbon fibre tendons, the heritage interior remained unchanged throughout the construction. The interiors have then been carefully and sympathetically refurbished in line with heritage values and the wish of its congregation, belying the complexity of the works it has endured.
