Distance proved no obstacle in the design of this rural retirement home near Seattle. Ian flew to USA to meet with the American clients, absorbing their chosen site on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Working intensively together for a week they resolved the design, selected materials and set up a local project team to handle consents and construction. The drawings were then developed at our office back in New Zealand. The outcome has been a highly successful example of contributing our design expertise to projects offshore.
